Weekend

To become a member of Cursillo, we ask that you attend a three day residential weekend. This consists of 15 talks, 5 meditations and a daily Eucharist. We also include various other items.

The message is simply that, by virtue of our baptism into Christ, all Christians share a call to be witnesses of new life in Him. Through liturgy and sacraments, this awareness is sharpened and strengthened. Through the meditations we come to hear in ever clearer ways the voice of our Lord calling us to action. In the talks the shape and possibilities of Christian action are clarified. We come to know how we can be effective witnesses, not just that we are witnesses. Finally, through the building up of community and our inclusion in a larger body of apostles we feel the reality and the joy of our calling.

Our Promise

We will not indoctrinate you. Our faith is based on the Anglican doctrine.

We do not promote a particular ‘churchmanship’. We respect your churchmanship and hope that we can give you the tools to go out and be a witness for Christ in your own family, work, community and Church.

An interesting, thought provoking and stimulating weekend. It is not a retreat and we will ask you come with an open heart and a quest to learn.
